I’m a freelance writer, content creator and copywriter from Oxford in the UK. I help small businesses tell their story, communicating their Big Idea in a way that makes customers want to buy. I can galvanise your web copy and write red-hot content that delivers real value, attracting traffic and encouraging engagement.
I have a background in television production and research, a discipline that trained me to write concisely and entertainingly. I use the scriptwriting and storytelling techniques I picked up all the time in my commercial writing. My varied career has also given me an insight into running a small business; I escaped TV production to manage the oldest secondhand bookshop in London, and was the online editor of a literary magazine for a while. I’ve also written a careers book under the name Emily Nash; “More To Life Than Shoes: How to Kick-start Your Career and Change Your Life” was published by Hay House Ltd. in 2011. It was based on nearly a hundred interviews carried out with inspirational women from many different careers.
